![]() ![]() Left is right when I opened Photos, right is after it took a second to add it's computational overlay. Screen grab from when my phone was processing a photo I took. That plus the lightening element and it's bad news bears for photo accuracy. Pores + Noise + Sharpening = more exaggerated pores and facial textures. In that second you can see that the photo it took is actually really grainy and then it switches to one with a smoothed out background and sharper elements on my face (check out the forehead highlight, eyebrow hairs, eyelashes etc.) I shot this one in RAW so it shouldn't be doing ANYTHING to it, but it seems to be just how the camera processes images. When I take a picture and then look at it in photos it takes a second to process. UPDATE: I know you guys don't know my natural skin so saying my 'pores look exaggerated' means nothing but I managed to capture what I mean by it's over-sharpening, because it's not just the 'better camera showing more detail'.it's kind of the opposite. I was told to send feedback here: since apparently that's where the developers figure out what they need to work on for new updates, but in the meantime has anyone found a decent workaround?ĮDIT: Removed the first photo and adding another photo for reference whose camera is of similar quality rather than the 13 vs. I'm super pale, so the fact that it lowers and sharpens the highlights + lightens that shadow means that not only is my face super flat, discoloured and weird looking, but my pores are super exaggerated. I've read a bunch of people dealing with this but was wondering if anyone has found a work around?
